Is this because I am working whilst writing or because I actually live my life in this priority schedule? Interesting isn't it.
Pearl Buck was the first American woman to be awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature. She believed that ”To find joy in work is to discover the fountain of youth.” Is this then my hierarchies explanation.
Or is it as David McCullough explains "Real success is finding your lifework in the work that you love." lets bear in mind that McCullough received the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian award that a United States citizen can receive.
Or maybe I share an understanding of life with Henry Ford who believed that "Genius is seldom recognized for what it is:
a great capacity for hard work". As founder of the Ford Motor Company - I'm happy with supporting this theoretical view.
Life's challenges can often result in emotional journeys which we pass through blind with little or no control.
Families are complex. Despite being irreplaceable and invaluable. Love is not an individuals success yet a human desire and need.
So, Is it the feelings and desires for success that instinctively position my work's priority?
Is success my ultimate ambition?
"Always bear in mind that your own resolution to success is more important than any other one thing" Abraham Lincoln.
Interesting....
"I always like to look on the optimistic side of life, but I am realistic enough to know that life is a complex matter.” Walt Disney."
